So you've drawn a comic and you want to get your linework into Photoshop (or whatever program you use). But you're unsure how to go about this. And what about this over-size comic board? You can't scan it all at once.
Tutorial #1 talks about scanning line art in 1 bit (or B&W) mode. This is the method that some large houses require (and at a very high DPI [dots per inch] resolution). In it we'll talk about scanning in 1 bit and then, in tutorial #3 we'll talk about 'stitching' those images together from two scansand then getting it all into Photoshop for colouring and scanning and we'll explain about 'layers' and what 'multiply' means.
For those who want to scan in greyscale (or want to know about both methods), see tutorial #2.
